Our facility, The Charter Place, is available most times and days, including evenings and weekends. You can have a memorial at a time other than during the work day if you prefer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We can offer meals in the Grand Room and\/or a place to celebrate a loved one, the Tacoma Preforming Arts Center (T-PAC) that was once a synagogue and then a church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meals in the Grand Room<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Although funeral breakfasts are traditional, we are able to also offer lunches, dinners or appetizer\/cocktail receptions. The Grand room allows for social distancing at The Charter Place and could accommodate 400 guests, however much if an intimate gathering is more the desire, we have a lovely private dining room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Life Celebration in T-PAC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The space is lovely, and although no longer used as an official place of worship, it has a beautiful spirit. Its history has already proven as a place that spans diverse religions, and makes a perfect space for secular celebrations. It is a beautiful place to celebrate a loved one with the ability to present their life through video and spoken memories without the usual time constraints. You could provide a video, a PowerPoint presentation or our technicians could help create a display if so desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A family could invite any celebrant, however we do have individuals that could provide a memorial, even non-religious if you so desire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We have the ability to have professional musicians and\/or singers if desired, we also have a beautiful piano if you have an experienced guest that would like to play, or we could provide a pianist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You may use either or both the Grand Room for a meal or the Tacoma PAC for a service. In addition to other meal options, we can accommodate most any meal preferences, including ethnic options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Days, evenings and weekends are available.
