The Charter Place (351 Tacoma Avenue, Buffalo, New York 14216) is a flexible 17,000 sq. ft. complex that in its former life was a synagogue and church and school. It was transformed by Chartered Professors into an arts and educational center. It also offers excellent space with flexibility for cultural events and ceremonies, fund-raising, conferences, town halls, team building and a wide variety of events.
On site, the Tacoma Performing Arts Center (T-PAC) is a prime venue. With its stage and large screen, it’s perfect for everything ranging from performance to lectures. T-PAC is equipped with a piano, AV equipment, streaming ability with an overlooking balcony.
The Grand Room, our beautiful ball room, has both a large and a small stage. In our spacious commercial kitchen, meals can be prepared on-site. A complete liquor license available for servicing every event.
Conference rooms, class rooms and newly constructed on-site hostel-style housing are potentially available. Our North Buffalo site has an outdoor area that can seat up to 80 guests and also a dedicated parking lot with valet service recommended for larger groups.
